Clare Anne McGrory was born in Scotland, UK in the 1980s and now lives in Brisbane, Australia. Growing up in a land rich with history, a sense of romance in the air, and a thirst for knowledge, she first became a scientist, then over time began more and more indulging in her passion for writing.
She has written books for adults as well as for children. Her books for children are written under the pen name Dr Clare.
